Session Information

Session

Sessions can last anywhere from 1 to 3 hours.  There isn't a set time limit.  Sessions involving babies may take up to 3 hours and children may take up to 2 hours, which will allow for breaks.  Midori wants to ensure she captures the very best of her subject(s).

Clothing

Casual, simple and timeless clothing choices are best for creating natural portraits.  Avoid logos or busy prints and patterns (including stripes).  Babies and children in their bare feet is preferred.  Newborns and babies look best in their bare skin, but if you prefer a diaper or a onesie, these will also look great.  If you want your baby photographed with their special blanket please feel free to bring it (should be simple).  Bring a few outfits with you and Midori will help you with your clothing choices.

For group photos it is important for clothing to be similar in tone and style.  Please keep jewelry and other accessories to a minimum.

Note:  Please bring toys or other things that will help babies and children adjust to an unfamiliar place.
